Hauraki Gulf Islands a Scenic Image NZ
This post is all about sharing my scenic images of the Hauraki Gulf. This is a good chance to bring my images into one post. These photos were all taken on day trips or overnight camps in the Hauraki Gulf. There are many Islands in the Hauraki Gulf, some I have been to, some you can not land on and others I hope to visit on a later date. Motuora Island is amazing and I was so lucky to get the opportunity to camp for 2 nights there. A great place to swim, walk and kayak in between just relaxing in the sand. Kawau Island One of my favourite day…

Being the school holidays and such a nice day, many others had the same idea. Once the ferry was loaded…

Day Out Tiritiri Matangi Island A Bird Sanctuary.
Tiritiri Matangi Island A bird sanctuary to be proud of. A day trip to Tiritiri Island is my top choice for a day out in the Hauraki Gulf. You get to enjoy the Hauraki Gulf. Have fun spotting birds while enjoying the bush. A great family day out. Many New Zealanders are keen to put time and effort into conservation andregenerating forests, saving our native birds and animals from extinction. This Island in the Hauraki Gulf is a great success story. The bird song greets you as you step off the ferry. I was lucky enough recently to spend a wonderful day on Tiritiri Matangi Island. My First Visit to…
