    Summer is the time to get out and enjoy the Hauraki Gulf Take a look at 4 Islands that I love to visit and that are perfect for day trips in the Hauraki Gulf. All 4 of these Islands are only a short ride by Ferry. Kawau Island I love this Island, I have many childhood memories from visiting Kawau Island as it was often the choice for picnic stops while we were boating in the Hauraki Gulf.     This post is all about sharing my scenic images of the Hauraki Gulf. This is a good chance to bring my images into one post. These photos were all taken on day trips or overnight camps in the Hauraki Gulf.
